DSCC has been working to tackle the redevelopment of vacant residential properties and vacant lots in our service area. We are currently building two new construction single family homes at 3535 and 3537 Missouri in the beautiful Marine Villa neighborhood. These homes will be restricted to 80% AMI buyers, to promote opportunities for homeownership within low-moderate income households. We anticipate the listing prices be to be around $148,000. Vacancy Initiative
DSCC is partnering with the City of St. Louis, Community Builders network and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri to address vacant buildings in our neighborhoods and bring them back into compliant and productive use. Join our housing committee to participate in these efforts.

Home Repair
In the summer of 2018, we conducted a need assessment of homeowners in Gravois Park and convened local organizations providing home repair services and funding opportunities to share those resources with residents. We are currently working with Rebuilding Together to provide free home repair to five houses in 2019.
